Hi! We are Bearkats for Life, a pro-Life student organization at Sam Houston State University. We seek to help expectant students have the resources to choose life without excessive hardship or judgement. Our purpose is to support the expectant mother, not condemn.

Many think that we are about telling others that abortion is wrong and shouldn't be done however that is far from who we are as a group. While we do talk about abortion, we also cover the topics of: Euthanasia, Adoption, Physician Assisted Suicide, War, as well as Fetal Development. We raise money to help expecting parents as well as parents with children. We volunteer at retirement homes to spend time with those who are there to provide them with happiness and fun memories. So, as you can see there is so much more to us then what the stigma holds. Actually, why don't you just come see for yourself!
